Ruger American

Prairie G2 20"

6.5 CM Rifle

The Gen 2 Prairie model includes a threaded 20-inch cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:8" right-hand twist, ideal for stabilizing the high-performance 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. The stock’s black splatter texture enhances grip and handling, while the length-of-pull adjustment system accommodates shooters of all sizes. Ruger’s updated Gen II ergonomics provide improved control and faster follow-up shots in hunting and precision roles.

The rifle’s alloy steel construction is finished with a smoked bronze Cerakote coating for added corrosion resistance and a distinctive look. It comes optics-ready with a factory-installed Picatinny scope rail, eliminating the need for aftermarket bases. Weighing in at 7 pounds and equipped with a 5/8"-24 threaded muzzle, the Gen 2 Prairie is suppressor-ready and purpose-built for demanding outdoor environments.
