Welcome to Gun Shack, a family owned San Antonio gun shop in Helotes, TX! We are located just outside of San Antonio on the Northwest side of town, 3 miles from 1604 on Bandera Road, just past Scenic Loop Rd. We buy and sell new and used guns from all major manufacturers. We also stock one of the largest ready-to-ship inventories of Savage barrels and Savage parts. We also offer a large assortment of high quality optics. You can find our optic line at Optic Shack.
We are open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. We are proud to serve San Antonio, Helotes, Boerne, Bandera, Leon Valley, Comfort, Pipe Creek, Castroville, and all surrounding areas!
We are also a Class 3 SOT FFL and specialize in NFA suppressors from all major manufacturers. We are a one stop shop and a "Powered by Silencershop" member with a kiosk on site. Class 3 transfers outside of Silencer Shop are $100.
FFL transfers are $40. However, if you are Military (Active Duty), a LE Officer or Fire Fighter; or if you have your Texas CHL/LTC we offer a discounted transfer price of only $30.
NFA/Class III Transfers are $100. If you need to use the kiosk, but are not having the suppressor sent to our store, there is a $25 fee to use the kiosk.
Finally, we offer personalized firearm instruction, from beginning to advanced skills and have a variety of firearms that can be rented if you are unable to provide your own, or still in the market for a firearm.
