Varmint Contour, 26” length, 6.5x55 Swede, 1-8” rate of twist, 416R Stainless Steel, Savage 10/110/Axis Small Shank, .805 at the muzzle. 

This barrel is finish chambered and ready to install and headspace. All that is required is a set of headspace gages in the appropriate caliber, a Savage barrel nut wrench and a barrel vise.

The 6.5×55mm cartridge is highly esteemed as a hunting round in Europe, and North America.  It has low recoil , inherent accuracy, and excellent penetrative qualities.
