Replaces the spring from the standard Accu-Trigger with the spring from the Savage Varmint/Target Action. It will reduce trigger pull to approximately 1.5 - 2.5 lbs.

Note:  This will only work in centerfire rifles with the AccuTrigger system installed. It is not compatible with any rimfire models, or pre-accutrigger models.

If you already have a varmint model Savage (or currently have a near 2.5 lb trigger pull)  you probably already have this same spring installed.  You can call Savage to see which spring came installed on your rifle.  The color of the spring has changed over the years, but currently Savage standard springs are silver and the varmint/target springs are black.
